Questions about Lowrance HDI
I have a lowrance elite 5 hdi, and after playing with it for a while i have a series of questions:
I've read that i can review a sonar recording on my computer but cant figure out where to find the viewer program, i have looked on the lowrance website and the only thing i can find is downloads from sites that look pretty fishy.......where can i safely get to sonar viewer
When i'm reviewing the log on the computer can i make waypoints for structure? If i can, can i also take those waypoints and transfer them to my unit on the boat? If so, how?
Also, i have been reading and watching videos to really understand 2d and DI sonar but i cant seem to find anything that actually tells me the bottom coverage area for the 455 and 800 DI beams.
