Help with 859ci di not marking waypoints

Took the boat out for the first time this year. And low and behold my unit is not marking waypoints when i hit the mark button. The only way that it will save a new waypoint is if i open up the waypoint tab and hit new and save it that way. Any help would be appropriate.

It is possible you have "Screenshots" Enabled under the Accessories tab with no SD Card in the unit ...

This scenario will not create a waypoint when hitting the "Mark" button ...

That's what it was. Working fine now. Thanks!!!!!! One other question. Thinking about getting a helix 12 si to replace a 999 can I use the same transducer that I already have installed. In other words can i just plug and play so to speak?

The HELIX 12 SI comes with the same XHS 9 HDSI 180 T that the 999 uses ...

The cable collector will be different ...
