LOWRANCE TOUCH 9 DI HELP

I made my maiden voyage and kinda got the hang of the 2D sonar but all I'm seeing is a black screen on the DI. I'll be back on the lake tomorrow. Any suggestions for me to try.

go to the structure screen, then "view", then " down". that should get you a screen view.

may have to go into setup and select the corect transducer type

I'm pretty sure I've done that but I will check it out. I'm camping at the lake but it's raining and the boat has the cover on it

is that ducer type an 83/200. if so, just select "generic 83/200" in setup and it should work fine. I had to do that when I first started using my hd7.

The HDI transducer is 2d and downscan combo. He will have an option for it in his transducer list.
