i have a 898c si, im wanting to upgrade but have no clue what to price it at. i bought new in 2011 no scratches and works good. i would like to know fair price then ill know if i will upgrade or not. lol thanks

Ebay has some for sale. get an idea from them and Amazon or other sites to get your best price.

Those Ebay prices on new 898 units are nuts. New 899's sell for $999. Granted, the are some features that makes the 898 a little more preferable than the new models, but certainly not at the prices they are trying to get. A price for a used 898 will also depend if it's a HD model on not. The HD model has better sunlight viewing. I think a used price would fall somewhere between $600 for a non HD, and $725 for an HD model.

The there is only 1 model of the 1198.....It has always had the LED backlit display.

The 798, 898, and 998 had HD and non-HD models....Not the 1198.

Bob is correct. The 1197 model did not have the LED.
