Default Feeding crappie caught with Onix 8 and DI

My friend Charles (Hunter on Crappie.com) had the Onix 8 and 360 Imaging installed on his boat this summer. It's been a fairly steep learning curve, but starting to get things dialed in. I took the screenshot below yesterday and thought it was quite interesting. It looks like I caught a crappie coming off the bottom to get a shad in the baitball and then is headed back down. Most of the big slabs we catch are right on the bottom and this is a good illustration.

The second picture is in the same general area with lots of fish down there. The last picture is of Charles with a 14.5" crappie that we caught in 30' of water.

Great images. I don't have an Onix.....have the 899 and won't put my kayak in the water without it. The si units are huge game changers.

Good pics. I'm going though a learning curve on a pair of 798's. I might have some hair left come next summer.

Nice shot, it must have been taking that bait right when you were passing over the bait ball and going the same direction as you with a shot like like. Thx for the shots
