    Question Humminbird XM weather

Wondering about XM weather for my unit, I have a 798 ci SI HD, is anybody running XM weather on this type of unit? If so I need to know what to buy to receive it and also approx cost per month for subscription, also if anybody has a screen shot of what the application looks like on the 798 unit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    David,
You need to watch the software version you are running in your 798 unit. Depending on the model of 798 that it is; there is a minimum software level and a maximum software level that the XM Weather accessory will work with. Not sure when it was but Humminbird stopped making these.
Which model 798 do you have? 798c Si, 798ci Si, 798ci HD Si

The 7.120 software in the 798ci HD Si model will not run the XM Weather accessory David.

Thanks Greg, Appreciate the help. Was also thinking of the weathersense so I could see Barometric pressure trends and how it effects the bite

You should be good to go with the WeatherSense.
