Kosmo do you have many laydowns,brush piles, stumps, where you fish? It would help me if you could post a few, then the next time I'm on the water I will take a few snaps of what I am getting on my 998c SI.
Danny, I have notice about the same on higher speed. Except when I am looking for a brush pile I have marked with a waypoint it does help me find it faster (I can see the bright sonar signal from it) and as you know the waypoint is not usually dead-on the object. Thanks for reply.
I think any unit would be pretty much useless in a 5' weedy lake.

Yea, I do the same thing.while returning to a waypiont, sometimes I'll turn the 360 speed up to 4 and I'll scan out to around 100ft +., Once I see the bright return of the structure, ill stop using the gps and ill use the 360 to postion my boat (360 works really well for this)Quote:
