Hey guys, I'm not a Bird man so forgive my ignorance. With 360 running does it give you a continuous sweep of 360 degrees? When you limit the display to a 'V' does 360 still sweek just the area you define with the V?
I'm asking as I have Lowrances 'Spotlight' and am very disappointed with it since I have to constantly turn my trolling motor to display a sweep. Tell me HB is automatic, unlike my Lowrance!
Okie bob....the 360 is a continuous sweeping.it has 5 sweep speed setting.(I usaully run on 3 while in full view mold).I believe thats theres 8 zoom levels,colud be more but not sure.
The 360 only needs a 180° to update while on full view because it has two eliminates(lowrance made a comment in there add for spotlight,that there was no need to wait for a 360° sweep for the spotlight to update.thats true,but the 360 only needs 180°)
With 360,you can isolate any area that you like.on the onix,you just activate the isolate function,then using your finger just drag the view to were you want.it can be from 360° all the way down to 5°,and can be any area within 360°.while in the isolate mold, the 360 changes from a clock wise sweep to a back and fourth sweep in the area thats isolated(the 1 setting for sweep speed works good while in isolate view).
Also,you can mark waypionts from within the 360 that will show on the 360 view as well as the nav screen.(you can also load waypionts from another unit and they will be visauble on the 360 screen
