Default Humminbird 570 DI sharpness problems

When I enable the SHARPNESS settings on my 570 DI, the image gets all broken up and only gets worse as the sharpness level is increased. Funny thing is it also does this when in Simulation mode. Unit was sent in over a year ago, only to be told that everything works fine. Anyone else have this problem?

This is a known issue in the newer software versions when the DI Sharpness is set to anything other than "Off"...(I thought it was only in the DI views of the SI series units ... But I guess it's across the DI units also...)

Not much you can do except leave the "Sharpness" off...

after updated software, my 570 DI works like a dream I was thoroughly impressed with the difference between DI and the standard dual beam sonar!

I tried to take a couple of pics the other day, but turned out crappy due to glare and reflections. I have an old 565 up front hooked to the US2 on my PD2 and when I passed over a school of fish it just showed up as a big blob. I turned around and looked at the DI and it showed a big group of little round shaped fish returns. Who knows, coulda been a school of stripes, a school of crappie, or a school of shad.

I will get some images on here soon as I get some better ones!
