    Kinda make you wonder what is considered a fish attracter and what is just trash.

    Seriously be carefull what you put in public waters. Get permission or you can get arrested.

    I sure thought tires were trash. I have seen catfish on a bunch of tires someone threw out at the dam, but never seen anything on the tires shown in the first pic.
    Personally, I would never throw in a tire. I saw a video or a pic somewhere of big reefs of tires at the top of the water and people were fishing them. I'll try to find it.

    The tires in my shot are from a floating "wave-break" in front of a small marina...(you can see the floating ones in the water column)...

    The ones in rows on the bottom have sunk due to old age or some other catastrophe I do not know of...
