    It sure have the appearance of a creek channel,the depth would not change until it got a strong enough signal and you can tell it is to right of boat,but as said widen screen and go diferent ways

    It may not be a solid rock, but at least a hump with maybe a gravel base covered with vegetation. The vegetation is absorbing some of the sonar signal and you have the soft returns, where there is little or no vegetation, you get a hard return. There are 2 fish on top of the hump shown as specs in the SI side and a fish looking return on the 2d side. I would go just a little big further and as a stretch and guess that you were traveling with the wind or current at your back when you recorded this because of the way the fish were holding.

    All the above is purely a guess. A person could take a line and drop it down and get a feel for what it is or, strap on some scuba gear. It is a pretty good size hump.
