    What exactly are we looking at? If i didnt see the 2d it wouldnt look like anything. what are the lighter color blotches?

    today was the first time that i have used the check/info button since i learned that it would access the quick sweep mold

    Yes i like it. Push info button once to activate it then push info once to set the width.it works like a windshield wiper once activated and can be set to to isolate any area of the 360 screen.it keeps me from having to change the speed of the scan so much.

    Man made structure. What im doing in though pictures that i took was navigating to shucture that i had marked while using the 360 to position my boat on the structure

    Image your normal SI unit's thin slice beam sweeping clockwise (maybe the boat making a hard right turn)...and getting the lighter colored brush to look "smeared" across the image...

    That's basically what you're seeing in the 360 sweep...(this rotating beam technology has not progressed far enough yet to be able to "process out" the smeared 360 images...into a crisp detailed images like we are accustomed to seeing in SI images)...
