I guess I should throw a disclaimer out there. I seen this anomaly with an earlier version of software. Cant say that I have lately as I haven't turned DI sharpness on since it first appeared a couple of updates ago.

Stymie, do you use sharpness in SI or I should say have you?

You are definitely correct about the zigzagg effect in my 1197...

HB has not released a 6.7xx for the 1197 yet so I cannot test ...(6.640 is the latest for my 1197)...

Yes sir, I do use sharpness in SI. My eyes can't stayed glued to the screen, gotta control the boat and watch the poles, too! I don't have it on all the time, but if I "feel" like it will help, I turn it on. Some don't like the graininess, so there are trade offs.

Look up in enough time to go left or right for what ever may be out there.

Grainy pix for sure but boy they stand out with it.
