    how bright is your side imagining in depths @ 30 ft and lower?
    trying to figure out if I have an issue with my hds9 touch,
    mine gets rather dark below ,30 ft

    might be the unit mine crashed on sat called on monday they anserd in less than 2 min. a real person not 1 time but 3 times great people

    On an H/B SI unit the manual states that soft bottoms, sand or mud show up dark. Harder bottoms are brighter. Maybe your lake has a lot of soft bottom material?
