Thanks again Greg. It doesn't sound like anything earth shattering that i need to install right away. I am going to download the update but not install it until after my trip to Ky Lake. We leave in about 10 days. I would not be too happy in the event I didn't do something right and get it locked up. I may wait until the last day on the lake and install the download to check it out and ensure all is well.

Well I installed the 6.640 update. Most everything works ok. One option I can't seem to find now is the upper range limit. I still have the enhance option, sensitivity option and lower range limit. Just can't find upper range limit. Any suggestions.
I think in main menu setup you can change from normal to advanced to get that view
Is the transducer a bow mount or on the back of the boat? Trolling motor mounts can cause RF interference if they are a variable speed unit. This is due to the pulse function that allows for less than 100% on the speed. There is a great discussion in this type of interference in the general fishing thread. I have been trying to fix this same problem for some time. Works fine at 100% but all kinds of problems at lower speeds. Another thing to check is for any worn spots on the transducer cable. Good luck.
Mine done the same thing. Had to send it in for repairs. They sent me a new transducer.
