opinions on helm and front gps

Do I really need a gps on the TM if I have a good unit on the transom?
All I for now is find brush , cast across it, or sit on top of it for crappie.
So how helpful is the gps up front?

If you have a unit on TM now without GPS and are successful wouldn't worry about it. If you have no unit then I think it would help to have one and with the prices of some of the units today wouldn't buy one without it.
