It's a Gen 1 HDS 8. These units are not hard to set up at all, some people think the menus are complicated but really they're not. On Friday when the clear images were taken I had 16. On Thursday I only had one short fish, nothing I tried worked. I fished everything from 8 to 22' of water. It seems I do ok in the winter when they are deep but start struggling after they make their first move.
