Elite 5x DSI vs HB 596i HD DI

I currently run a Mark 5x pro and am wanting to upgrade to DI. I'm between the two units listed in the title. I am also running ?these on a flatbottom jon, will that interfere with the quality of images I receive? Have not been real happy with the Mark 5x pro so far but I am also extremely green with these units

The HB 596 HD DI has 4 separates sonar beams ...

2 for DI and 2 additional beams for 2d...:

heres a snapshot using the 597.its the same thing as a 596.its showing the 2d on the top and di on the botton.theres a stake bed with some fish in the picture

how s this unit (596DI) i just bought one for the frnt of my boat. i have been reading some bad review about this unit (596DI) being mounted to a trolling motor. any feed back would help me out.
