Gous and Reds

There aren't too many places where you can catch big gaspergous and nice reds in the same spot! Unfortunately, we found one today, and I believe the biggest gou was larger than the biggest red. And we had some NICE reds!
Global warming was assuredly the problem - along with using live crawfish for bait! Oh - the spot. The north bank of Atchafalaya Bay right where it becomes Four League Bay, Louisiana. Two feet of water over shells - clams. Live clams! Apparently gous like clams as much as yankees do.
Oops, sorry. No anti-democrat politics here! But man, those were some Boone-and-Crockett-sized gous!
And I am quite proud to say that of the three of us who fished together this morning, I was the only guy who didn't catch at least one!
It was a good day! :D
