Rain+West Wind= Salmon

The winds held off, but we did have to fish in the rain over the weekend, but the rain was just enough to jump start the salmon run. The first wave of fish are in tight to the piers now and we had some excellent catches. Glow spoons, J-plugs and fastracks in any color got fish in 9-25 feet of water. We picked up a brown and a coho in the mix, so now is the time to chase those big fighting kings.
