All most the Grand Slam

We came up short one lake trout to make the grand slam of catching all of the 5 species this trip. The rainbow action is happening right now with most of the fish being caught in the top 40 feet and the orange spoons on the surface have been working the best. The cold water has moved in and the fish go on feeding bursts later in the morning. Missing more than we catch with all the high flying rainbows throwing the hooks.
