Looks like around two weeks and it will be time to pack the boat up. The winds have been steady out of the north keeping the wave hights at 3-6 feet out past 40 feet of water, making it impossible to fish the deep water and the salmon run has turned out to be another dissapointing year. We did try the 60-130 foot depth one last time and marked fish but had 2 bites that got off and one undersized fish that got released. Looking for some salmon around the piers on our next couple of trips before calling it a season.
