Bugs and Warm Water

We hit the point in the summer where the water has warmed up to 70 some degrees and cold water is hard to find with the shifting winds. Its official bug week, as we were invaded by a variety of flies. The fishing in the normal spots were spotty and slow, but this pattern means the scum lines out deep with form fast and the deep water thermocline fishing will begin. The bite is turning to a flasher fly pattern, but we hope to find some deep water schools of rainbows this week.
