Time for THE FAN!
I think I saw a fan on one of Slab's boats but I'm not sure. Anyway the image stuck in my head and for a time I researched which fan to buy.
Attachment 514637
The Sirocco II fan was what I settled on. it's 12 or 24 volt, multiple position, speed, and it even has a timer. I'm looking for airflow under my umbrella.
Attachment 514638
This is a pretty neat fan, articulates in all directions.
Attachment 514639
Mounting had me scratching my head as I wanted to swing it out as needed but stow it when running. This RAM Mount was the solution I needed.
Attachment 514640
If I mount this on the Passenger Console it will be out of the way but can swing out when needed.
Attachment 514641Attachment 514642
I needed to mount the base to the RAM Mount so clamping it well allowed me to drill the holes where needed.
Attachment 514643
I attached the supplied wiring before mounting the Fan to the RAM Mount.
Attachment 514644
Here is the assembly, it's going to work.
Attachment 514645
I removed the Windshield before drilling and mounting the Unit to the Console.

That’s gonna help some on those hot days out.

A fan is nice on the hot days and helps the umbrella be more effective. I normally carry one of my Ryobi 18V hybrid fans as well as the Ryobi 18V Clip-on fan. After I get done fishing and rinsing out the boat, I then use those fans to help dry out the boat, especially the lower deck to keep that from rotting out, too.
