i find in fighting a fish there is less pressure on my wrist of my rod hand .as a traditional rod would want to twist the rod under pressure . i have a carpel tunnel issue in my right wrist. i took off the left handed bait caster and put on a push button right hand handle i can cast all day wthout a problem.

Rich, a rod that’s built on the spline of the rod doesn’t twist like some factory rods will. When built on the spline they will bend exactly the same way every time whereas rods with guides not properly aligned will act way different, depending how far off the spline the rod was built.
