Default A bit of reading ahead for me...

I found and purchased two of three books on Rod Building I've been wanting for some time. These two are by Dale P. Clemens. The third is being very elusive. It's by "The Dragon Master" himself. Of coarse it's on weaving designs on rods. The Dragon Master being Jim Upton. Every where says out of stock and one says no longer available. I'm hoping one will turn up sometime. It's on using a weaving jig called the Wander Weaver, allowing one to weave a picture 360* around the rod. The books called "A Guide To Thread Weaving for the Custom Rod Builder"Name: 20250325_142527.jpg

This is gonna hurt. I had one of those and sold it a while back. It’s a very good book. I got more from the YouTube videos , some of which are outside the box but the technique still works. Reel blue custom rods is pretty good along with a few others. I learned to do a chevron wrap from those.
