    Hi.. new to fishing stripers here in Charlotte. Was wonder if anyone direct me to where to get herrings or alewifes? Heck I'll take shads too.

    I am east of Charlotte near Albermarle and not any place out here that I know of. I have never heard of anyplace selling them. I know several people that fish norman and go to Hickory first to catch bait.
