My goodness! What are those bream on steroids?
Good Catch!
-
Ain't nothing wrong with them bream. Really like them redears.
-
Whew!!! That's some fine eatin' there Nimrod! Good going. I'd be proud to be "resorting" like that! Us down south here are having to go to La and Ms to catch crappie.
-
Well Nim, I can see that you are not going to starve! lol
Good lookin' fish. I'm hittin' the high water of Ouachita tomorrow for an all day search for the crappie (trolling Bandits) and drop-shoting the bedding bream/redears.
I know everything's gonna be deep and the action will be slow, but I'm suffereing from withdrawals for not being on the lake for a full EIGHT days. The water's only receded about 8" inches but I can't control that.
Thanks for postin' and showin' us how the bream fishin' is done. It won't be long; you'll be slayin' the crappie in a few weeks.

Arkie I heard the Bull Bluegills were hitting deep at Ouachita. Good luck and post us some pictures.
I'm taking my same old friend that Bream fished with me to run the limb lines on Petit Jean River this morning. We should have a load of Blue Cats and maybe a Flathead too.:D
