Dunno yet. So far this week I caught crappie, redeye, Bluegill, Brown trout and Striper.......Maybe Ill see if Grandpa has found any flounder yet.

I got to ride roller coasters all day saturday with a couple of blondes ..somebody got to sit in the middle and comfort the cuties......

but sunday gonna rockfish If I gotta engineer a hand tiller for a 90 hp johnson

Me, Hog Choker, and Sedge will be catchin' some bream on the fly rods on Gaston Saturday. Might make a run to BI Sunday.

the get ready, got the whole next week off and gonna fish every day. Still have an open seat for Wednesday if anyone wants to try Briery Creek with me.......crappie should be done spawning, big brim should be moving in now.

I'd stick with Cohoon if I were you.

As for me, the poor fishing at Western Branch has me making a road trip to Kerr. Should be putting in at Eastland tomorrow right around 7:00.

Yeah, I'm leaning toward Cohoon, my bud is coming down so I don't want to make it too much of a struggle finding fish....

Isn't Kerr like a 4 hour drive?

Drive, ha, Tap just grabs the trailer and takes off running, 2 hrs tops, even faster coming home it's downhill.

I live just west of the Lynnhaven mall in Virginia Beach and it's 145 miles to the Eastland ramp which I can make in just under 2.5 hours. Even with my 14' jon boat, it's worth the trip out there. I used to feel that my boat was too small for Kerr but I just stick to the creeks. (which have tons of crappie) Two big guys in a jon boat on WB will throw up just as much wake as any I've seen on Kerr. Also, having caught 3 crappie 15" or more in my last 4 trips, I very anxious to get back out there.
