I KNOW THAT TORCH IS FISHING TODAY IN THIS WIND CAUSE I DID IT YESTERDAY AND MANAGED 10, WOULD HAVE GONE TODAY BUT MY WIFE HAD A WRECK YESTERDAY EVENIN AND WE JUST GOT IN FROM HOSPITAL. BROKEN COLLAR BONE AND CRACKED HIP. WILL BE DOWN FOR A FEW WEEKS.Quote:

Torch, how did you do yesterday? Jennifer and I stayed out till about 6 and only managed 5 worth keeping. We caught a bunch of short fish. And the wind was fierce but we were catching fish all day. Just couldn't find enough big ones.
Torch ya'll got him spoiled....used to be happy with 1 keeper and a drum or two, now 5 keeps is a bad day.....:D:D:D

Went this morning for a couple of hours, and I would've been happy with 1 keeper. I didn't get nothing. I caught two dinks. I was just happy to see that there was a crappie still in there. I guess they'll be ready in a couple of years!
BCM I had 16 keepers and about 35 throw backs. I quit at 10 couldn't stand the wind. I caught all these in deeper water 5 to 7 ft.
Hahaha. I knew it! I knew I should've been in deeper water. How did I know it? Am I smart? Negative. My wife told me that we should try deeper water. BUT...being the chicken that I am, I didn't want to get into water that I couldn't walk out of! I was just waiting to sink. I didn't even think it was a matter of if we sank, but it was just a matter of when we did it.
16 Keepers! Good job...dang dang...we got 5.
Since BCM managed to catch 5 keepers I feel he is no longer able to hold the office. I on the other hand fished both Sat and Sun and only managed 1 keeper. Soo it is with great disgust that I anounce my run for Prez of the He man Limit Haters Club. Has Prez I promise to petition for changes to the limit laws, i.e. only 5 fish Tues-Thurs. That way we that can only fish on the weekend stand a chance. Thank You for your support.:)
