I 'm new to this sight so I was just curious as to what everyone's home lake was, the one that you fish the most. I grew up fishing Grenada but now live in Brandon and now spend alot of time on Ross Barnett. I look forward to getting to know you guys and enjoy the post on this sight.
Welcome Delta Slab. I live on the Tenn-Tom in Columbus and fish there most but travel to Pickwick, Grenada, Reelfoot, Kentucky Lake well you get the picture I fish all over.
maroon and white Nitro with some gunly guy cussing cause he's not catching much, THATS ME on the rez. LOL Be there this afternoon after work and HOPE this cool front diesn't back them out into deeper water

I fish the Delta lakes a lot as well as Barnett and the Pearl River. Welcome to the forum.
Welcome, I live 10 minutes from arkabutla.... But, since there are no crappie left in 'butla, I fish sardis mostly. Venture off to enid, grenada, tunica, lakeview, moon, desoto.... well you get the picture... have boat will travel.
The good ol barnett...if your looking for dondon just look at the bridges HeHe. :D I'll be in a black xpress come over say hey if you see me.
Welcome aboard. I grew up fishing Eastern Arkansas (Old Town, White River Oxbows, Mellwood, DeSoto, Arkansas River at Pendleton) but now reside in DeSoto County. Fish Arkabutla, Sardis, Lakeview, & sometimes Moon Lake.
Enid is my home lake, but I venture as far a Trace and Davis Lakes from time to time. Good to meet you.

so the poo, when it begins to be slung, slides a little better. LOL Now you knwo all new guys that fish on the rez are required to give up atleast 2 good GPS waypoints to me. I don't make the rules, just live by them.

Me, I rule Grenada, no one fishes Grenada without my review, approval and permission. So don't get no ideas from this here thread until you've produced the proper application.
Been known to fish Bee and Enid every now and again.

Welcome fellow newbie. I just found this site a few weeks ago and the fellers here seem nice enough. I live up here in Cordova and my lakes are Sardis, Enid, Pickwick, Midway and Horseshoe. Depends on the time of year which ones. I am a recovering basser' so I am still adjusting and I've been denying the urge to grab a rod with line that has over 6 pound test on it.
I don't really have a home lake. More or less a fishing transient. The closest thing to a home lake for me would be Sardis or Enid.
How could I forget good ole Lakeview.

Since making the move to Hernando I fished Arkabutla one year (last year) and now I'm pretty sure that lake is barren. I do like to fish moon as often as possible though. For some reason, I really really like that lake! I still fish enid the bulk of the time.

Just rocks. OK I must admit I was a troll BUT I was a fish catching troll. I'd venture out every time I went for abit and then when I wouldn't catch anything, I'd go back to the bridge and pick up some fish for dinner. I'm still taking baby steps but least I can say that I've got over 15 quart bags of filets in the freezer!!! OK now Sticksteer. I DO have a GPS, just always forget it in the truck hehe May need to bring the one from work with me so I can plot it up on my computer screen. We've got a 50,000 Trimble GPS at the office (I'm a surveyor) and guess I need it instead of that little handheld. The guy yesterday was fishing a road when he caught the 30 something, course it was an underwater road, hint hint
Welcome newbie cohort. My home lake is Washington but since I moved to southaven I am homeless now. I just fish where I am toled they are biting and always end up a day late. With that said, if anybody is planning a trip to Washington, I would be more than willing to swap some secret spots for info on any N Ms lake:D

Lowrance Part # 125-09 12-Parallel Channel GPS+WAAS Receiver/Antenna. Think by reading, thats what I need to get it up and running.. Found one for $195 but good grief this Crappie fishing is getting EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!!! I do see where it helps now. Not just way points for a chart plotter and cranking will help make sure you hit the right spots
If i fish in the middle of the week, I go to Bee or Dump. If it's on the week-end I fish Wolf, Atchafalaya (sp), or Little Eagle. Sometimes I venture over to Lake George or Lake Washington. I've even been known to fish Chotard when the Big Muddy is below 25 ft. at Vicksburg.Quote:
