Nice looking twins! I would like to catch a couple dozen like those any day!
Pretty slabs that fine young fisherman is holding.
good pic..thanks
Nice lookin' pair of slabs, and welcome to the board. That's a great entrance. Just noticing from the picture that those females still look to be full of eggs...how is the spawn coming over that way? And how deep did you find 'em?
These were caught at about 2.5 feet. The ole timers said that they are about 2 weeks away from spawning from looking at the eggs. They are starting to move into the brush.
Nice fish.........
Welcome to the board from VA! Those are some nice lookin' fish! Congrats on the catch!!! :D:D

Can anyone give a report on the water level and temp. at Peckerwood?
This transplanted Arkansan is missing those quality crappie!
From AGFC.com
Peckerwood Lake:
Herman’s Landing (870-241-3731) said the water is fairly stained and at normal level. Bream are biting fairly well on crickets fished around brush and stumps. Crappie are biting well on minnows and jigs fished around stumps. Bass are fair on spinnerbaits and crankbaits fished near brush around the bank.
Those are some very nice looking twins! Good job!:)
