Yes what kind of head is that?

On your tails, is that bucktail? if not what is it. If hair then I would make it more tapered and not cut that end. I only would cut the end that comes off the skin.

Thanks for the input. The heads are DO-It Crappie jigs 1/32 & 1/16 oz with size 8 & 10 Mustad kink shank hooks

After you cut it off the skin hold it up to your jig and trim from the same end so it will have all the pointed ends still there.

I do like those heads as well, bet it would give some wobble trollin'! Very nice if those are your first!

hey black i got that same mold and to save you alil money you dont have to use the kinked shaft hook you and use a reg #6 minnow hook...the only thing i dont like about the mold is the #8 & #10 hooks but the grinder fixed that

Skip, I just need to practice cutting them to the right lenght, these old eyes and fumble fingers just dont have the knack yet. will keep trying and tieing.
