VMC Barbarian jig hooks

VMC CATALOGUE - Barbarian Hooks

Anyone every try these for making jigs? I think we need to bend the ear of the company and have them make them in a smaller size, at least down to a size 8. I have always liked VMC and they have very sharp hooks so maybe it will be a good alternative to the sometimes cheap quality of the sickle hook.

What does everyone else think?

I've all ready talked to them their quoting Me a price on My new design as well .

I've tried the regular VMC jig hooks and their good but haven't tried any of the barbarian's

Size is the only reason I have not tried them and until they change that I have no use for them.

Well let's get 20-30 members to email them and ask for smaller sizes. I have already asked if they make them or will consider it. I even threw in that the quality would make me buy them before buying Sickle hooks, maybe that will get their attention.

Wouldn't be surprised if minimum turns out to be 100,000 in order to do it.

special orders can have a high minimum some as high as 50,000 starting count some higher so you might not be that far off fatman

Any word on the qty and sizes they will make?

What size hook are they quoting on???? you can always sell here on the board to recoup some of your money
