I LOVE the color. Tie that onto a 3/16 - 1/4 oz jighead with a large hook and the smallmouth would eat that to death! Crappie hanging around the rocks would too :)
Nice looking bait - what is the Hook/jig size?
looks good man i like it
1/32nd with #2 hook.

Colors good but I think a little more needs added where the claws are then it would be just about perfect
Looks like a winner to me.
Really like the colors and the materials. Only suggestion I would make is to put the claws on the other side. I think they will float up easier in a more defensive pattern. Just my 2 cents. Pop
nice jig
now that is a shellcracker jig! beautiful color scheme. fished under a bobber them crackers would sail on that if they were in the shallow water. also 1/16 oz. would be good too. hang one of those gulp waxies on the hook, the little tiny ones not the curly ones.
thanks for the comments and ideas. Pop, makes sense to me! Doc, what would you add to claws?
Not sure since I havent tried my luck at making jig but will here shortly. But maybe something a little courser or heavier that would just give the claws a little bit more body.
Not that I know what I am taking about, but just seems the claws should be a point of focus on the jig, they should stand out more and I also agree they should be on the other end of the jig so that when you move the jig the claws move upward
Here is a picture of one of Black Crows jigs perhaps feather like on this jig would work for claws

Excellent tie!!! Only would tie a couple with the silicone legs laying Over rather than Under....just my take on it. Just for the sake of experimentation to see if there's a difference in the catch rate. With the silicone on top, might get a tad more dangling action in the movement department. Great profile and colors. You may also like to tie a couple with the silicone coming out of the tail itself. Great job!
About claws, I've found for smallies, tying rabbit hair jigs,
they aren't needed even in a basic craw pattern.....might make it look more vulnerable without. Just an opinion.....Good Fishing, Mac
