Well I just got back from the potholes with a average of about 20 fish a day (bass). I did catch some nice crappie too.I got a almost 4lb largemouth on top water and a couple other smaller fish on top water too.
Well I do all the time, I have been avereging about 20 pinks a day on fly from the beach and no one else can catch them. the other day i caught 32 and there was 15 other people there that caught nothing i ended up getting cused out by a few. That day I caught a pink salmon that was a half poound under the state record in messuered out to 33 inches. The commercial fishing has been really bad for the copper river delta, so I have not made much mony so far, halibut should start soon though. i hope that ever one is doing well though i should be back earlier that usual this year do to the fishing. later.
Im going for some pinks next week, and coho, and kings, most likely I will get skunked, but we will see.
got over 100 bass up here on the island, also a couple of slime rockets as bassman likes to call them.
On friday I tried the elliot bay opener, and only got a couple dogfish. On saturday i went to alder and got a few kokes and my dad got the same and a 17" bow. Today I tried elliot bay again and got a couple flounder a dog, and 3 rockfish. My dad did catch a undersize chinook, rock fish and the rest of the junk fish. Next friday Im going to Sekiu to get into some mad salmon for the BBQ.
I just got back from oregon and stopped at Silver lake on the way back up and got one black crappie and one white crappie.I also had a 6+ bass snap 14lb test like it was a king on light line.
fished the snake tonight for an hour or so. Tried the 3" sanko in watermelon.
Took a while to get used to, had to fish through the little ones to hook a couple decent ones.
If they are smallies try a 4incher, If they are largemouth try a 5inch senko it will produce much better size, but the action wont be as constant.
I got a better 20 inch long largemouth today, and it was off a bed!!!!!!
Well I just caught a 15lb. silver on my 5 1/2' UL rod and four pound test suckas!
Oh yeah I got a 7.26lb largemouth last night on 14lb test on a jig in the lilly pads.22inches with a 18inch girth. It was great fish to, it tail walked like a smallie would.
Igot a 5 lb silver on a 7' M rod on 15 lb test :mad:Quote:

Headed out to Washington on Sunday morning from 3am to 10am. Topwater bite on the weedlines was red hot until about 6am. Buzzbaits and Pop R's were the ticket. Fished plastics the rest of the morning. I caught maybe 17 bass total...all under 3lbs :D. I couldn't find the big girls to save my life. Also caught the largest perch I've ever seen in my life on a lizard fished in 35' of water. No crappie landed since I forgot to grab my tackle bag filled with jigs :(
It was a great day on the water though. So nice in fact that my dog decided to nose dive off the bow while we were doing 45mph mid-lake along the I-90 bridge. After a quick S turn to avoid running her over we circled back and waited for her to pop up on the surface. When she did, she had a look on her face that said "I should not have done that" :p. Needless to say....she stayed in the middle of the boat for the rest of the day LOL!!!!
sounds like fun, did you ever make it out for another try at walleye?
I went to the rock humps but there was another boat within 300 yards or so working the shore for bass. I just kept driving :D. I have never seen anyone work those humps (hard to find on a graph) and I sure wasn't about to let them see me working them. That's a real nasty habit on L. Washington. Guys see you working/catching fish on submerged structure and they mark it in their GPS. That's why I like to launch out at 2:30-3am and pull off the lake by 7am most mornings.
I'll have an open seat next weekend.....not sure were to go. I'll post a new thread later.
I was on Lake Washington today and got 3 out of 4 off rocks.the biggest was 2.5 to 3lbs, and the one I lost was about 4inches away from my hand and was about 5lbs. one of the fish I caught was a 14inch perch.
