fishing buddy
Hi, I'm new to the site here and haven't done a lot of crappie fishing. I'm hopeing to fix that since i love fishing for anything. I'm looking for a fishing buddy who might know where to go and wouldn't mind taking someone along. I'd be happy sharing expenses since i dont have a boat yet. Also if anyone knows places i can fish for crappie without a boat i'd love to know. I live in west little rock. i can be reached at 702-885-3776.
Thanks for any help.

I suggest you start with the NLR side of the Murry Hydro Electric plant. That is an good place for catching crappie from the bank as well as whites and stripers when the conditions are right. There are usually guys down there that are friendly and more than willing to help you along on getting started.
I live in Ward, just north of Cabot and don't get down there as much as i use to, but i am hoping to get back in the groove b4 to long.

Welcome to the site from Conway.
I suggest you contact danogoldcreek. He posts here fairly regular.
He runs a boat dock on Lake Conway.
He rents boats, sells bait, and is as helpful as can be.
I copied this from one of his posts. Directions and phone number.

Some of the best bankfishing that I know of is on lake conway. Get yourself a lake map or something that shows the public docks and creeks that run into it. Pierce creek has been real hot. Theres a long dock that runs into the lake.
