some fine crappie from Crappie Pro today largest at2.2lbs two limits.he caught them just the way we have been talking about.he will tell you this they were caught in the big cove.yall have to get rest of the details from him.looks like he is the man!he also said he caught 15 yesterday.
2 other guys caught 30 today,another two guys caught 15 today.4 other boats caught only 1-4.gotta hold your mouth right.i was out tonight only caught10 small ones. they are definatley hitting better during the day.A big thanks to CP for showing us all these good fis lately.yesterday 2 guys caught 27 and another caught15.

Nice catch! Seeing all these pictures of crappie is getting me jealous. I haven't got to go lately. Guess I need to hurry up and fix my dad's boat.

I might have to take you up on that offer Arkie John. Honestly though, it's not the boat that's been keeping me back. I've been really busy the past several weekends.

Thanks Dano for posting those great pics. And for anybody interested in fishing Lake Conway, crappie, bass, catfish, bream, go see Dano at Gold Creek, he without a doubt has the best lil bait shop on Conway, Info and what lures you need to find SILVER GLORY on Lake Conway.

Fished Conway yesterday 2-7-09, me and my partner ended up with 22 keepers, two good fish. Fished big Cove all morning could only manage ten
good keepers there. Slower Bite than yesterday. Lot of boats appeared people were struggleing to catch fish. Moved out of big cove and fished the smaller cove up creek and just west of big cove caught 12 more keepers.
Biggest mistake i see people make is live and die by the big cove. If it aint happening in the big cove, you got to remember there is about 7000 acers of prime crappie habitat here. Go Hunt em down casting a jig and bobber. We have been fishing anywhere from 2 to 5 feet deep depending on location casting a white and chart tube (My favorite color on conway) 1/32 oz chart jig head black eyes, six lb camo line.
