Been fishin for 5 years and no problem when made in USA.Now it is made in Taiwan and sucks.Read on another site someone else had same problem.Any recomendations??Dont like MR. CRAPPIE line either.

I Guess Its About Like Everything Else. If They Make Something Good Then Sooner Or Later They Get Greedy. I'm Sure That They Had Someone In Taiwan Start Making It For Them Cheaper!! They Are Just Trying To Add To Their Bottom Line. I Guess They Think Fisherman Are Stupid And Would Not Notice The Difference. But They Are Wrong!!!!! It Will Probably Cost Them A Lot Of Line Sales.

I used that BPS Hi Vis crappie line a few years ago and liked it. I ran out and went back to Trilene for a year or so, then picked up some more of the BPS stuff last year when I found it on sale. It was junk. Stiff with a ton of memory and no breaking strength. Can't beat the old Berkley Trilene.
