Hair jig--First Attempt
Some of you Eastern guys have really got my attention with the hair jigs Ive been seeing.Im still a chenille and feather guy,but have purchased some kip tails to experiment with.
Can we ever have too many jigs in the box ??
Suggestions ????http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y71...N/MLNA0071.jpg

Yep looks good to me.
In answer to your question if boat drafts another foot of water when you put jig box in.
Then maybe you might have too many jigs
-
all i tie mostly is hair jigs and i have got to say that is a good looking jig

Not bad, but cut the hair off even and try to keep it from getting up so far that it sticks out from under the thread. If it still does cut it off with a double edge razor.

Looks fine. Trim it where you tie it down if you care, it won't matter to the fish. Give it the durability test, hold the head with one hand and grab the hair in the tail and pull hard and see if it slips out. If it does, you need to wrap harder.

not bad rog. Tie us up some for our outing in Mar. We shall give them the ultimate test.

The hair sticking out at the head was hardly noticeable in hand, but I trimmed it after seeing the pic ;)
The next few did get better.I did say it was my first one:D
