Jig donation for tourney.

I hate asking people for things...but just came to mind.

I am an FFA advisor here in Arkansas, we are putting on our first fishing tourney at the end of march. We are trying to get some prizes together. I thought some hand tied jigs would be a great prize. I think I'm going to tie some and I'll probably talk AgriHawg into making some...:D lol.

I really hate soliciting but just thougtht that would be a neat deal. The tourney is a benefit for our FFA chapter. This will be a crappie, bass, striper tourney on Lake Greeson here in Arkansas.

Scrapper, are you planning on taking your tying stuff this weekend? I'm debating on whether to take mine and tie jigs or work on the FFA SAE report.

BTW, I'll tie some jigs or build something.....maybe both if I've got time.

Agrihawg...Probably not...be glad to accept you stuff too...lol. I figure I'll be working on the tournament stuff. Got ALOT of folks to call. lol. That and my stuff is all fixed up neat in my house now..lol

scrapper ill get you some stuff in the mail...i just hooked up with outlaw rods and ill give him a call and ill ship you a case or two of jigs,a rod or two and maybe i can get some shops around here to throw in some stuff too....nothing like getting the kids in the outdoors these days

Guys, as another FFA teacher/advisor, I want to say thanks for showing your support for what Scrapper is doing. Scrapper's a great teacher and I'm sure any money raised by this tournament will really help his FFA chapter. Anyone who works with students need all the help they can get!

okay say far i have....2 cases of jigs (25 per case"crappie jigs")waiting on my rep to bring me the two outlaw rods(they will be brand new)...24 1/4oz bucktail roadrunners and a new tackle box full of brand new gear....i hope this helps....love to see kids out fishing

Flatfish...got the jigs today!! Thanks alot!! I hoping to have enough that any kids under 12 will get some sort of prize. I think we'll be able to. I think its important that they all at least get something to take back home with them.

I hope every kid catches a Two Lb. crappie.Now that would be something they wouldn't forget.Lot's of pics of the kids with fish would be great...
