One of my local lakes is extremely clear water and it need more subtle combo's. Ive never used much grey/grey but with an addition of red maribou I think I like this one !!

i just poured me up some 1/32 with #2 black crome sickles
Kind of a dark photo, but I think gray is the way to go on crystal clear water. I think I like it!

That's a really nice looking jig! I've been planning on tying some gray jigs myself. After seeing your's with the touch of red, I might have to copy that.

Get you some software to adjust the brightness and such and I think that is all you need. Send me the pic of that one and let me play with it.

Looks good rad nice job
ahhh i see....i think a smoke head on that jig would just really set it off
What colors of marabou did you use?
Good lookin' jig Roger. Gray is one of my "go to" colors and the red should be a great addition. Doesn't have to be clear water to work, either.

I really like that color combo! Gray and light purple is a show stopper also.
Roger... that jig is lookin' stellar! Keep at it my friend!
Awesome looking jig and photo. Sometimes we can get carried away and put too much flash in a jig but this is perfect. This would make a great swap jig.
Nice jig

ever try tying up some brown jigs? they work very well around here in a few lakes
It took me years to fish gray. After tying them for my fishing buddy and him whupping me I finally came around. When you look at gray, gray/black, gray/white it is as close to our natural bait (shad) as you can tie. Deadly fall bait.
Nice jig and colors, kinda makes it look like a small leach

Your new jig looks really nice too. I'm sure both will do really well.
The gray looks really good with the brownish red tail I use alot of browns if i am fishing clear water..
nice looking jig, i wonder how it would work in our yucky water.-shu
