How are you getting the barred look on the maribou?
those are nice skip...first class
Thanks skip.......i'm getting the urge to give this whole jig tying thing a try.
I understand that skip i like to fish my own brushpiles and i think catching fish on my own jig would be a gratifying experience.
There is no doubt about that and it does feel great at least at first. I tie because I just like it and It wouldn't make any difference to me if I used them my self or not. I like creating in place of watching TV, LOL! It gives me something to do since I have all this time and finding this is about the best thing I could have thought of and it was really all by accident. I just thought about giving it a try and got hooked, LOL!
If you want to tie then you should for sure. If I can help with info about tying just PM me and we can talk a bit. I don't agree with everyone on every thing and I don't like kits even though some do. I know listening to me can cost you a few extra bucks, but I also know everything I talk good about will help. Put a lot of thought into it and decide how much you can spend on starting. I don't really believe in kits partially because there are too many cheap tools and not enough good materials. However again that is just me.
