Saw a jig in the Crappie magazine, it was either a beaver tail or paddle tail. Does anyone know where I can find these, they are about 3in I think.

You should be able to get these anywhere....Bass Pro, Cabela's, The Crappie Shop....I usually refer to paddle tails as Slider's.Quote:

Hello D.I. I think I read the same article a couple of months ago about the guy in Oklahoma. They are called woolybeavertails. I couldn't find them in a retail store so I ordered some on the 'net. I bought bla/char, grn/char, and pumpkin/char.They come in 20 packs and have a ton of salt on them and Yums LPT attractant. On Lake Allatoona I have had a lot of luck with the black/chart color around marinas and docks vertically jigging. Have also caught a lot of green and white fish on them. I have not had much luck swimming the baits, only vertical fishing them. I didn't buy the black/pink color they liked in the magazine but hope to find some soon. Good fishin' John.
Thanks fishjohn, im going to try them trolling and dock fricking.
this is a good night bait by klinhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...e/acidrain.gifcolor is acidrain. under dock lights it is good. blach and chartruce for day time.
