I don't think you have enough vises, LOL!

Sonny,
Great looking station. Cup of coffee, crank up the tunes and lets see which vise do I use today. You catching anything lately ?
Wow,you take your tying and hunting seriously, very well organized.Give me a week and it would look like a tornado went through.I have to talk softly or I could start an avalanche.
Very nice
dam man 37 vises <yes i counted>
Nice tying area. Got plenty of vises and bows there.
I counted over 40 lol
I counted 48 vises!
All right, if we guess the right number, do we get one? :D I'm in need of a new one!! I would guess 57, cause I bet there are a few more in a drawer somewhere. lol Nice area, kinda puts my cardboard box and footstool to shame!
i think i am gonna puke up every thing i have ever eaten that is just sick. how can you tie so much and keep it that neat. Even when i built my shop it wasn't that neat and i hadnt even tie anything yet.
There has got to be a couple of Thompson Vises some where .. How many ?

:)
I know I am bad because I had a Danvise and used it for 1 year and sold it. Replaced it with a Renzetti Salt Water Traveler with cam jaw, used it for 1 year and still have it as it's a fine vise. However for some reason I wanted another vise so it came down to a Peak which is much like my Renzetti and a Nor-vise which is way more than a regular true rotary and will let you do a lot more a lot faster, but cost is high. Well I couldn't resist the Nor, but I still want a Peak and a Griffin Montana Mongoose which I have heard nothing but good things about.
Actually I think what I need to come up with is a way to have my Nor in place and also have my Renzetti also in a spot that I can use it at the same time.
If any of you have not seen the videos of the Nor then you should take a look at this vise even if you have to save for a couple of years, LOL! J/K about that.
Be sure to watch more than just one video...

Oh yeah and it's a shame, but I wouldn't mind having a HMH vise for tube flies, LOL!

Skip – can you really have too many vises - LOL??? I like collecting them - a vice for vise. Have a lot of Thompson and Herter’s tools also. Did you notice the Herter’s production rotary vises on the far left end (weigh a ton)? They are gear driven.
ifish – thnx. Going out Saturday to chase some gills and slabs @ Lake Perris. We got real good weather, need to loose the wind.
UG – can’t shoot a stick to save my butt, like my training wheels just fine. Hunt pigs and carp.
JSC - Thompsons are in the center. Have two that pre date a 40s catalog.
ALL – Don’t know how many vises, last check it was over 70 (some you can’t see).
I am looking for Tack-L-Tyer vises. The vise I use the most is Regal – have 6.
Man I can't believe you don't get into archery as much as you do fishing LED !
HEHEHEHEHEHE LOLOLO!!!!
Wow nice tieing area wont run out of vises any time soon...
LedHead, I have a garage sale find ($4) thought you might have interest in since you collect the stuf.
Vise (if you can call it that) has a pressure stamp with "TACK-L-TYERS PAT PEND." Very low end model. Book is probably more interesting. Copyright 1966, by Lacey E. Gee and Erwin D. Sias, a beginners guide on how to... taught me how to anyway! 64 pages and has 7 or 8 pages about jigs and crappie fishing.
If you send me a replacement bobbin (yes I still use this one for a spare color) I will trade you the whole set. I don't have a whole lot of use for the vise... I need a new "real" vise and am saving for one now.
PM me if you think you may be interested, can give you more details and address.
Attica ... I had one of those .. I all most think it came in some kind of kit .. sometime in the 60's ... Now I gotta go spend some time looking thru a bunch of stuff ....
:)

AF - PM sent.
Ledhed,
You have a passion and a vice for tying. That is a nice office.
