Well here's a couple snap shots from the new SI unit. Still trying to figure all of it out. :)

Those look GREAT !! I only wish my 797 looked that good!! Just could not drop that extra $1000 bucks on the bigger one:(
I bet if you drop your speed to around 3 and your chart speed around the same they will even be better!!
Thanks for the feed back. I will try going slower it's hard to do :D, 3 mph too fast for trolling motor and too slow for big motor. May have to get one of those trolling plates for the big motor.
Maybe before the spawn gets here I will have all the playing out of my system and can get to some fishing.
Good shots, in the second pic on the left looks to be an old road bed & on the right old submerged structures. What lake?
I wouldn't waste the money on one of those trolling plates. They just tell you to go between 2 and 6mph. If your doing 4 and get those pics I wouldn't touch a thing. Maybe mess with your scroll speed a little(slower is better) and maybe mess with the SI sensitivity a bit. Either way your pics look great!!
Thanks
I think it was an old logging road on the the left, I think I found where the road came back up out of the old hollow.
The right side is some stumps and some big rocks I think, because on that side I was only about 200 foot from the bank and that's what is along the shore.
This is the Upper Bear Creek Lake in Bear Creek Al. I was up around the Mondye boat ramp.
Looks good to me. Remember, these are sound images, not brush art.
Monet is dead.:p:p
Net time out, try gray and reverse colors. Increase and decrease the sensitivity. This also helps alot.
Yes Sir, but I still like the bright colors. I'm use to seeing bright colors for the HMI's we do for machine control touch screens. So far, the Blue and Bright Colors are my pick, just my 2 cents. But who knows when I learn more I may like the others too.
You THE MAN HERE so I'm just learning :D Thanks for the help
Go to Hummingbird web site and download the converter. It will change your pics to windows.
here is a couple of shots I took of a boat sitting on a drop off...im starting to think a sailboat due to the number of poles sticking out of it...and another of an old highway that runs across the lake...that I took in the grey color. I am hooked on this mode...it seems to be alot brighter than the rest.
I agree poop......especially in bright sunlight. I like reverse color too.
Very good contrast and more refined details vs blue, brown, green. MOAO
