I'm waiting on the draw down to finish, then plan on hitting it. I'll update when I get a chance to hit the water.

I can't wait till they get it down myself. Wish these bluebird skys would go away too.

I have been doing pretty decent fishing jigs and minnows on creek channel bluffs that have wood.

I would not wait for draw down, they are biting now.

Went Wed. and stuck them good 11-2:30. Jigs on wood,on rocky banks in 2'-7' of water in full sun. We caught 29 and we seen some of the fish actually come up and hit the jigs. Tried some wood on mud banks and did'nt catch any, tried stakebeds and did'nt catch any. It's hot right now.

Had 17 good keepers yesterday

same pattern, bluff walls with wood.

Minnows seemed to out fish the jig yesterday

8 to 12ft deep

caught 17 good keepers

8 to 12ft, bluffs with wood

Most on minnows a few on jigs

I think I saw / spoke to you the other day. Were you fishing in the Browns Ford area?

I was in a 14' old jon boat. Was me and a buddy. Think we talked to you on a stumprow just above the bridge there at Brown's Ford.

It was not me, I fish down in the main lake most of the time. I have a light blue ranger 488vs with a new evinrude e-tec on the back, say hi sometime if you see me out.

I will crappie fish all winter

I been fished Barren sevral times this fall. We been getting 20 to 40 almost every trip but today was a differant story for me!!!!!! We fished from about 7am to 1 pm & had 2 keeper crappie. We fished from 2' to 12' deep & struck out.

I have a friend who fished last week and said the same thing..

maybe they will start back up this week.

Went 12-2-08. Fished from 9am-4:30pm. Had 1 keeper on jigs.

They should have the water at winter pool. I heard they were holding winter pool at 528.

Anyway, once the water settles down,it should get good.
