The quote from Abe says it all.
I just took a quick look at the polls on all the state boards. Looks like at least 80% of the crappie fishermen and women have the same interests in who they want. The final results could be interesting!!
Like sheep to the slaughter,I can see that it still has more to do with color than, common sense.BAAAA BAAAA.what a bunch of sheep.
The race card is ALWAYS the easiest card to play when thing do not go the way you wish they would. The color of the candidate has nothing to do with who I vote for. Obama is a socialist/marxist. He wants to raise taxes and redistribute wealth. Read the communist manifesto. All of his CHANGE ideas are listed there. I do not much care for McCain, but he will do the least amount of damage. Before people use the race card so freely, maybe they should ask why they are voting for such an inexperienced candidate.
#1 sus--from a taken poll, race plays from Dems and or lower education. From issues only and no --or I hope so--give aways NOOBOMA.Seems he would take even more away from me and mine.
His color? Are you kiddin me? The race card is Obama's best tool. It's what the Dems have used to get him where he is so far. I have no problem voting for any man who has the credentials regardless of what color they are. If they have the credentials and I think they are the right person I will vote for them. If Colin Powell were running for pres I'd vote for him. Heck if Condi were running I'd vote for her. Obama is no Colin Powell or Condi Rice. Not even close.
I will not vote for a socialist/marxist done nothing senator who has zero experience for the job.
I am with soaker, everyone in this country no matter what color you are gets the position based on qualifications, credentials, and background ,why should this job be any different?
This comment was/is totally UNCALLED for and you should be ashamed to have posted it. All you had to do was vote and state your opinion, Instead you had to attack those that do not think like you. You are far more a racist than anyone else that has posted so far.
Stick a fork in NObama because he is done and he knows it. Just vote for who you wish wether it is based on race, experience, whatever. The race card is ALWAYS played and it does not work. As a matter of fact it has the opposite effect they wish it would have. The liberal democrats will lose another one because of their stupidity.
Judging from the vote, it seems you guys are happy with the way this country has been run for the last eight years. So i guess at least four more wont make a difference to you. I'm retired now at 55 because my job was lost to imports. I make ends meet but thats about it. You think trying something new is bad? Hope your kids and grandkids are ready for the new regime. Or is it the same old, same old. God Bless America and good luck.
the not wanting anything to do with taking my money and giving it to those that are worth ---- is not my way of voting.NOOBAMA

I agree completely. I dont claim to know much about politics but it seems blatantly evident even to a dude like me with what little savvy I have, that
the corruption and power that are so firmly in place in the upper echelon of our federal gov't are such that no honest man with good intentions can even
get a look at the ladder it takes to climb to become president, let alone get on a rung or ascend to the top. Big $ and lobbyists seem to control our destiny and it will probably take granny git yur gun & a good civil clash before it will ever change, if it ever does. WE are no longer THE PEOPLE. "

I was reading the above when I decided to answer this thread.
I will not cast a vote for President this year. I can't support the direction we've headed the past 8 year, nor can I support a one term senator with a touch of arrogance.
I admire and I am thankful for McCain's service Grateful to a man that suffered for my freedoms. He will be our next President and I will then support him. I just can't support more of the same as a canidate. I'd also support Obama if he became President. I'd support any sitting President. I just can't find the name on the ballot this year I'd like to see in the whitehouse..
If these 2 guys were heart surgeons and I was laying on the table waiting for open heart surgery, I would like to think that the most qualified surgeon was going to perform the surgery, even if I wasn't that fond of either one of them.
It is true that the country has been thru a lot the past few years, but a Democrat or Republican President would have had bad publicity no matter what. The bottom line is we are who we are and it is gonna take more than a new President to make a change. Washington D.C. needs a whole new facelift and get those politicians that are just looking out for themselves out of there. I also would vote for a black man if he was the right man or woman for the job, but I honestly think that experience and qualifications are a must!!...Just my opinion, but how a Muslim raised man with not even a hint of an AMERICAN name with ties to our enemies has made it this far in our political circle is beyond me. Yes,we need a change...But be careful what you ask for.
Thousandfs upon thousands have fought and died to help give you the right to vote no matter who you vote for so please VOTE. Not voteing is a slap in the face of these brave men and women that have fought and died for us. If there is no one on the ballot you like then write in some one.
I'll vote, just not for president. Congress controls this country for the most part. If I don't care for either ticket, say i don't like 2 movies, Why should I buy a ticket to one of them if I don't want to see it????
I'll vote in the races where I am sure of the canidate I prefer.
the last 8 years have not been perfect by any means but i have made the most money i have ever made in the last 8 years. i can remember when gas was $1.25 a gallon and i didnt have enough money to buy a gallon. now its $3.59 to$4.00 gallon and i dont like the price but i still fill up every time i need gas. i would love for it to be better but i am not sure it will ever get any better. but i want a president that intends on standing up for america. keeping america free. lowering taxes not raising them. a person that wants to make government smaller not bigger. obama's plan may be good for some people but it sounds like it will rip me a new one. i hope and pray everyday he does not get elected. the last thing we need in this country is another jimmy carter.
Amen Bigfish!
New regime? Not sure where that is headed or what it meant. Regime seems like a term I have heard during reports from overseas Islamic/Muslim problems. I hope and pray (and not to Allah) my children and grandchildren never see a regime in the USA. Judging from the vote, I see belief in picking the best of our choices. Complacency is not predicted from a poll. And as for the race card/general stereo-type bulllstink.........well that's just HORSE SNOT! But to be expected, unfortunately.
all you can do is vote for the man that will do the least amount of damage. our government doesnt run right because of the people. the people keep electing the same people and our government is not setup that way. you are not suppose to be a life long career politician. its setup to have someone elected and after their term is up, to hit the road and go back to farming the land if thats what you do, not to live in washington. its all about the dollar , getting ads, raising money, putting your face out there and that takes money.but i really think this poll should go away before someone gets their feelings hurt and the bashing starts. lets talk fish!
well i keep up with all of this stuff not that im the smartest person in the world or that iclam to be but like some has said the last 8 years has been the best for me pay wise then ever befor
most want to say the ysa is in a down turn but realy in the big pic theres only a few things thats hurting right now one bein housing and mogages and they kinda did that to them self
and the atuo is hurting bad becouse of gas
but every other market is up and has been for the last 3 quaters but some want to say we are in a down turn
and obma wants to tax the rich and bisnesses more well i can tell you last time they did that so many got layed off wasnt funny and
see in the usa small biz makes up 80% of all and they tax them more well prices go up and they start laying off to keep afloat and being one of them i just cant have that happen to me it would put me under and i would have to close my doors
anyways allen is right lets talk fishing =)
