That would be fun.Maybee get together once a month or something and get something to eat and exchange fishin secrets..Sounds good...
sounds fun... would there be a cost?
Sound like something that would be good.Cost that depend all on it will be run.And who all join.Im for one to say lets do it....:):):)CAN i GET A SECOND..
I originally posted the idea on the Georgia board, thinking about Russell, Clarks Hill and Hartwell, but a South Carolina club would accomplish the same purpose for those three lakes. I'm all for it, and as far as cost, it could be free or we could put in an annual membership fee and use the money to get patches made or pay for a crappiefest expenses, etc.
Im in, Ill be back at the end of the month
Sounds good to me. We need a president to get the ball rolling. I nominate Fisher-O-men. He's the secretary of his striper club and knows how these things are supposed to work,
Id second that second...:eek::eek:
Long as there is food and fishin involved im there.....lol
Good Grief! Can't a fellow even go a day without visiting this board? I turn my back for 24 hrs and I done been nominated to high office in a club that doesn't even exist yet! :D:D:eek::D
Actually I appreciate your confidence Beagler. I think it would be a fantastic thing if we could have a crappie club that met monthly to discuss crappiefests or club tournaments or have raffles to give away crappie tackle or better yet, to have some of you expert fishermen give a seminar on how to catch big slabs and lots of them!
So let's keep talking and see what we can come up with. And, all joking aside, I'll help out in any way I can!
Great fishing and God bless,
William
Beagler I didnt get fat by not eatin thats for sure...lol
Fisher I hear that train rollin as we speak I think you just got railroaded...lol
Been workin so much. Man if ya miss a day you get way behind. But I,m in with you guys.
Tic Tock Tic Tock Tic Tock............:p:p:p:p
I was just thinking that for the crappie club to work in a local setting, we'd need to have it established within a reasonable driving distance for those who'd want to attend. Nobody knows how high gas prices will go, so I know personally that unless a club was closer than an hour (and preferably a half hour!;)) it would be hard to make it very often. So I am thinking of starting a new thread about the possibility of a Russell/Clarks Hill Club or a Savannah Lakes (Club Russell/Clarks Hill/Hartwell) and see what kind of interest we could find for folks along the GA/SC border. Other folks in different parts of their states could do the same.
Just imagine...a club made up of both sandlappers and crackers...
That would be an unbeatable team!;)
Lets do it,I like to learn things and make new friends, thats how I learned to striper fish a little better by getting in a club...ss
Count me in also . It would benice to meet yall
