Everyone learn all they wanted to know, LOL!
Now maybe you can teach me something.
Where did you all go? Lets talk about new things we are doing and coming up with. I will have some to show soon I hope since I ordered it 3 weeks ago.

Well Skip,
I have been working with beginners and newcomers to the boards trying to share what little information I have compiled to just get them started crappie fishing. http://www.crappie.com/gr8vb3/showthread.php?t=63635 Trying to keep up with the 75 requests to email a copy of BMW style fishing so far has kept me pretty busy.

everyones fishing..it's SPRINGTIME you know :P
I'm planning on buying a digital camera this Summer so I'll be posting some tying pics
Been fishin the new jigs. I do have something in the works myself. Since I have discovered how much fun and productive shooting docks is, I am trying to get a jig that has a thin profile that may hpefully "skip" across the water under docks. You know kinda like skipping a rock. I have used pliers to "squish" the lead head to get the profile down. We will see how it works later this week.
Best of 28. :)
Last time I posted a question about tying?
I felt so bad,, I promised I wouldn't ask no more.:)
I've been tying now and again with some success,, in my eyes. I've just been too embarrassed to to show the fish!!!!
Someone, at one time, had showen how to tie a blood worm. Does anyone remember who or how it's done?
I've been just too busy with the surgery and all to get it together.
learn to pitch those jigs like the bass fishermen and you can pitch way back under those docks.

Or you could possibly try a red san juan worm

As far as pitching jigs, that wont work on the docks I have been hitting. Gotta get way under the decking.
Its that time of year guys everyone is getting out and fishing now instead of tying.
I am doing both as I can't seem to stop. The wind the last few days has been so bad I just stopped fishing this weekend, but since I live here I am lucky that I don't need to go on the weekend.
But since I was doing so well on the Chart/Blue/Chart 1/32 I decided to tie a few 1/4 oz. to troll close to the boat front so the wind has less effect.
Hope everyone is catching lot of fish as they have been biting here really well in 8'-10' of water.
If your catching fish show us some pics. It doesn't need to be just jigs we show here and would be great if you show us what you are catching on your jigs.

I'll tell you what I've been up to. I've been to Bass Pro Shop and now I'm have a lot less money to spend on gas. The good side of it is I have a lot more tying material which should be fun. Fishing is way off here due to the high muddy waters in most places. I did see a little clear water while driving yesterday and might just give it a try. Fishing is usually tough in those waters because of the abundance of grass, but with the high and clear water right now it looks like a perfect set-up for fly fishing for 'em right over the grass.
